Default Barcelona vs Manchester United

The most anticipated game of the season, Champions League Final.

Both fans of the clubs cant wait for this game and all neutrals like me also are eagerly waiting for the biggest game of the season.

Barcelona wont be having Daniel Alves and Abidal as both are suspended. Manchester united have a suspended player in Fletcher but he is replacable in their squad unlike the two Barca player

Who do you think will win?

I Think/hope that barcelona win, not just becasue i can't stand Manchester United but because i think former arsenal legend Thierry Henry deserves to win the champions league in what has been an illustrious career.

Yeah, thats why he left arsenal for.

He won everything there is to win with arsenal and with France, except for Champions league.

In all honesty i think Man Utd will win, Chelsea dealt with Barca very well they only had 1shot on target and that was the goal they got, i'll go for 2-1 to Man Utd Rooney and Carrick for Man Utd and Henry for Barca.

i have a gut feeling that united will beat barcelona. I am sure both sides will try to seek first goal in the early minutes and if man united did manage an early goal then they can keep a clean sheet as they got the best defensive line in europe and a great keeper in van der sar

it happened just as i expected except it was barcelona who scored the early goal.

Panic from the first goal killed manchester united. Shame they couldnt hold their nerves.

Berbatov proved to be the worst signing this year in my mind, how the hell did he manage to miss the header from corner when he was clear off any defenders. Thats what bothering me when seeing £20+ million signing cant do half whats expected from him.

Congratulations to barcelona for their superb display, champions display.

The Final from my point-of-view

In the first 10 minutes, Man Utd dominated - I thought they would score loads of times. Then in the 10th minute came Eto'o's goal which really stung Man U as they were playing very cockily and from then Barca were just brilliant. The passing was superb and it was a pleasure to watch. Man U were then hit by an outstanding header from Messi in the 70th minute and ten minutes later Man U had no possible solution to Barcas beautiful display. Scholes got a yellow card about two minutes after he came on and so did Vidic and Ronaldo - frustration.

The Man U passing was really shaky as was the defense. Barca didn't have their favourite back four and still were superior to the so-called 'world-class Man U'.

Xavi and Iniesta were unbelievably good in midfield and all the play was coming from them - is there a better midfield pair in the world today? Messi was also, as ever, insanely good. These three are men-of-the-match each with unrivalled performances.

Maybe Man U should've scored because (quote Alan Green, Radio Five Live) "Valdes looked as if he has had a nervous breakdown" and "Iniesta is playing on one leg". Anyway, I HATE Man U so I'm glad they were beaten, convincingly. Anyway Man U didn't even look like scoring because Ronaldo was trying to get all the glory himself. Barca definitely came on leaps and bounds since their game vs Chelsea in the Semis and I have to admit, even Arsenal couldn't have stood up to Barca's solid performance

There were no tears from Ronaldo or in fact any Man U player because they (and everyone) knows that they were beaten by the better team on the night. The best team without a doubt won.

Congrats to Guardiola, he's won the CL at 38 years old, what a career he has ahead of him. Also well done to every single Barcelona player for making football look what it is meant to be.
